Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will handle a high volume of inbound calls while providing accurate, timely, and professional support to clients, agents, and third parties. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced call center environment and are eager to build knowledge within the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle 45–55 inbound calls per day, ranging from simple inquiries to complex, market-sensitive requests
- Respond to requests from agents, policyholders, and third parties via phone
- Educate customers on company products, including policy details, product changes, tax implications, and state regulations
- Provide clear explanations of policy information such as beneficiary details, terms, and account values
- Accurately document all customer interactions and ensure appropriate resolutions
- Process a variety of transactions including:
- Address and beneficiary updates
- Ownership changes
- Partial withdrawals and replacements
- Draft and send correspondence through multiple communication channels
- Take initiative to resolve issues and deliver a high-quality customer experience
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (call center preferred)
- Strong ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Proven ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain complex information clearly to a diverse customer base
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn and retain complex information quickly
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $43,000 annually
