Business Analyst-Visio, Process Improvement/Process Flows-25% Travel Within 2 Hours Of Boise, Idaho

TEKsystems is currently seeking a Business Analyst with strong Systems, Process Flows, Visio and Requirements Gathering experience for a 7-9 month + contract located in Boise and Nampa, Idaho.

*This position will be on-site in Boise and Nampa Idaho and require 25% travel within 2 hours of Boise for on-site meetings.

Description

This team is putting requirements together to assess their inventory management system, processes, and flows in preperation of a new Systems implementation. They need a Business Analyst to assist with the clean up for data capture process. They have a need for improvement relating to several processes going on in the recording points and overall errors that need corrected in their production facilties. The project they are looking for assistance with is how they are going to map out the data flows. They are observing workers in production facilities with how they are putting in data, where it's going, if tracking is accurate.

They are looking for a BA/Process Analyst that can come in and work through the documentation, requirements gathering, process flows of the inventory system. The project will include a lot of mapping utilizing Visio, Smartsheet, and excel. Current environment is AS/400 and JD Edwards.

• Watch, ask questions, understand the “why”, document, help to create flow charts (Visio).

• Working with people mostly in the plants, other analyst, some developers, but this is aligned the business team more so than IT.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the manufacturing or food industry is a plus. The BA will spend a good amount of time in the plants to understand how employees are currently using their systems.
