Job Description
As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for transforming a part from a blueprint to a finished product independently. This includes setting up vices, selecting tooling and materials, and downloading the necessary program to run the part. You will primarily work with parts made of stainless steel, ranging in size from 2 to 24 inches.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with engineering to enhance machining processes.
- Perform full setups on machines, including changing jaws and touching off tools.
- Troubleshoot machines to make adjustments and offsets as needed.
- Operate CMX 1100s with precision and maintain tolerances of +- .0005.
- Conduct first piece inspections using CMM machines and gauging tools such as air gauges, height gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC Milling experience.
- Experience with machine setups and operating vertical mills.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and making tooling changes.
- Familiarity with Fanuc or Mitsubishi controls.
- 5+ years of CNC Vertical milling experience is preferred.
- Experience in an Aerospace company is a plus.
- Familiarity with Mastercam software for program edits and changes.
- Experience with HAAS, Mazak, or similar brands.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $51500.00 - $83200.00/yr.
