Job Title: Plant Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Plant Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in cost accounting and possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis for our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost accounting activities including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to optimize cost efficiency.
• Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
