Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and a background in manufacturing or production. This role involves assembly, inspection, and use of various tools in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble sub-components of motors
- Pack parts for shipping
- Pick items for production
- Complete quality checks
- Clean and prepare metal parts to eliminate oil used to prevent rust during shipping
- Read and follow detailed instructions
- Previous production experience within manufacturing
- Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
- Ability to read a computer screen
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Quality or packing experience
- Experience in electronic assembly
- Tenure with previous positions (6+ months)
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing position

Work Environment
The facility in Buffalo Grove is one of five in the US and is extremely clean and organized. Contractors work in various cells, moving from area to area as needed. Duties include assembly of sub-components of motors, packing parts for shipping, picking items for production, completing quality checks, and cleaning metal parts. The shift time is from 7am to 3:30pm, with optional overtime from 6am to 4:30pm and on Saturdays. The temperature-controlled production floor is divided into lines where employees work in teams of 8-20 people.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
