Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry & Product Support Associate to join our team. This role is heavily focused on accurate order processing and data entry, while also supporting product-related inquiries and quality documentation.
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring orders are entered correctly, customer requests are handled efficiently, and internal teams have the information they need to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Order Entry & Data Management (Primary Focus)
- Accurately enter and process high volumes of customer orders within the ERP system
- Maintain and update order records, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Review orders and documentation for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Manage data entry for product and quality-related records
Customer & Product Support
- Serve as a point of contact for product inquiries and order-related questions
- Respond to customer requests via phone and email in a professional, timely manner
- Coordinate returns, exchanges, and credits in line with company processes
Quality & Documentation Support
- Create and track quality-related inquiries from submission through resolution
- Assist in compiling documentation such as reports, contract reviews, and investigation summaries
- Maintain organized records for product and quality documentation
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues
Coordination & Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and issue resolution
- Handle a high volume of requests while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Support reporting, tracking, and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in order entry, customer support, or a similar role
- Experience working in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (order management, data entry)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data and order entry
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
This is a Contract position based out of Cary, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
