Job Title: DC&P Analyst (Construction Business Operations)
Job Description
- The DC&P Analyst (Construction Business Operations) plays a key role in supporting compliance and operational excellence across construction projects, with a strong focus on prevailing wage, apprenticeship, and domestic content requirements. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of data within the construction project management system, oversees document control, audits reports and processes, and coordinates state and federal compliance reporting. Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, the analyst helps maintain consistently high standards of accuracy, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with prevailing wage, apprenticeship, and Davis‑Bacon requirements
- Ensure adherence to local and domestic content regulations
- Manage document control, audits, and compliance reporting
- Review contractor and internal reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Maintain projects and generate reports in the construction management system
- Track issues, analyze data, and support corrective actions with project teams
- Stay current on regulatory changes and align internal processes accordingly
- Provide guidance, training, and ongoing compliance support to project teams
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Experience with document control and maintaining organized, accurate records.
- Experience with project coordination in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions and follow tasks through to completion with minimal direction.
- Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and reports to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Comfort working with construction project management systems or similar platforms.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Document control and process auditing experience, preferably in a construction or project-based environment.
- Construction industry experience and/or completion of a construction-related internship.
- Renewable energy industry experience and/or completion of a renewable energy-related internship.
- Experience managing projects with multiple levels of interface between vendors, internal staff, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated solution-seeking mindset with the ability to proactively identify and address process gaps.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to provide training and guidance to team members on compliance and document control processes.
- Familiarity with prevailing wage, apprenticeship, Davis-Bacon Act, and local/domestic content compliance is highly beneficial.
Work Environment
- This role is based in an office environment, working on-site five days per week. The position is highly collaborative, involving frequent interaction with project managers, construction management, operations, vendors, subcontractors, and other internal departments. Work is primarily performed using construction project management systems and standard office productivity tools, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, document control, and detailed reporting. The environment supports a culture of teamwork, clear communication, and continuous improvement in compliance and operational processes.
This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
