A Small Structural Engineering firm in Chicago is looking to add a Structural Engineer to their team!
Job Description:
- Prepare reports, design and construction drawings for buildings (residential and commercial structures)
- Complete design calculations and develop calculator packages
- Consider strength of construction materials and select appropriately - show familiarity with all typical construction materials
- Provide first level QA/QC on designs and drawings
- Be experienced with computer design programs, completing structural analysis of framing system for both lateral and vertical components
- Have experience with drafting using Revit, RISA-3D, ETABS is a plus
- Manage multiple projects within specified timelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering
- 3+ years of experience
- On path to licensure or interest in becoming licensed
- Experience working on residential and commercial projects
Compensation:$57.69
