Hiring Assembler With Pay up To $19/hour In Elgin, IL
Responsibilities :
- Inspect, test, and process returned modem products through a multi-step refurbishment process
- Perform receiving tasks, including documenting and scanning incoming units
- Conduct factory resets using manual button operations
- Run automated testing by plugging in up to 32 units at once to identify defects
- Complete Wi-Fi and temperature (elevated) testing procedures
- Clean and perform cosmetic repairs on products as needed
- Conduct In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) checks to ensure standards are met
- Assemble kits and complete pack-out processes, including palletizing for shipment
- Prepare finished products for shipment according to client specifications
- Accurately scan and track parts at every stage of the process
- Collaborate with team members across multiple workstations and functions
- Cross-train in various areas of the 12-step production process
Requirements :
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Comfortable standing and working on feet for the entirety of the shift
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas
- Good hand dexterity and ability to handle small components
- Strong punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing setting
- Previous production or warehouse experience preferred

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
