Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Product Management to lead and develop a small team while driving content automation and digital product initiatives. This role requires a strong leader who is capable of rebuilding team stability and mending cross-functional relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as staff manager by leading, mentoring, and developing a small team with an initial direct report.
- Rebuild team stability and repair cross-functional relationships following previous turnover.
- Own day-to-day product management to alleviate the department director's workload.
- Drive content automation and digital product initiatives.
- Work independently, operate with maturity, and thrive in ambiguous environments.
Essential Skills
- Proven product management experience, preferably in healthcare or medical device sectors.
- Full product lifecycle ownership from concept to launch.
- Experience with innovative, digital, or AI-supported products such as automation, data-driven platforms, or digital health.
- Formal people management experience with direct reports.
- Background in lean, startup-style environments preferred.
- Ability to work CST hours.

Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid work environment with a preference for candidates who can work remotely but are open to traveling 4–6 times per year, including attending the annual conference in Chicago during the fall. While CST or MST time zones are preferred, EST candidates must be able to work CST hours
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Elmhurst, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $145000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
Medical, Dental and Vision PTO and Holiday pay
Workplace TypeThis is a fully remote position.
