Pharmacy Technician (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and process prescription and patient information into pharmacy systems
- Maintain and update patient records while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, delivering exceptional service
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and fulfill customer service requests
- Monitor data accuracy and support quality improvement initiatives
- Act as a resource and mentor for team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Support ongoing projects and help improve processes and patient experience
What You Bring
- Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- 2–4 years of experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or customer support
- Proven experience with prescription processing and data entry systems
- Strong customer service skills (call center experience needed)
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
- PTCB certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Retail pharmacy experience
- Advanced data entry skills with high accuracy
- Familiarity with hybrid or remote work environments

Work Environment
This role combines in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in a highly interactive, fast-paced setting, using pharmacy systems and technology to support patients and providers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LAKE BLUFF, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
