Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer supports new product launches, improves manufacturing processes, resolves quality issues, and drives continuous improvement to ensure efficient, high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support new product introductions from design through production.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, BOMs, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot production, assembly, and quality issues; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Analyze production and quality data to improve efficiency, yield, and reliability.
- Manage ECOs and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Design and implement tooling, equipment, and packaging solutions.
- Support audits, compliance initiatives, and supplier quality activities.
- Manage capital and continuous improvement projects.
- Review designs for manufacturability and support prototype builds.
- Train production personnel and provide ongoing technical support.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Grove, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41.00 - $47.00/hr.
