Quality Inspection Technician (Pharmaceuticals)
Pay: $18.00 / hour + shift differential for 3rd Shift
Location: Melrose Park, IL
Shifts Available: 12-Hour Rotating Schedules (Work 3-4 days a week, enjoy 3-4 days off!)
- A Shift: 5:45 AM – 6:15 PM
- C Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM

What You Will Do
As a Quality Inspection Technician, you will be the final line of defense ensuring life-saving pharmaceutical products are safe and defect-free.
- Visual Audit: Inspect vials and finished products to spot and classify visual defects.
- Equipment Operation: Set up, run, and adjust automated packaging and inspection machinery.
- Quality Verification: Run critical start-up checks, including line clearances and filter tests.
- Accurate Tracking: Calculate defect rates and log production data in digital and paper batch records.
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, wrap, and palletize finished products for shipment.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–3 years in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments (Pharma experience is a huge plus!).
- Sharp Eyesight: Excellent visual acuity to spot minor defects and pass internal vision qualification.
- Basic Math: Comfort with basic multiplication and division to calculate defect percentages.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to strictly follow step-by-step instructions (SOPs) and log information accurately.
- Physical Stamina: Comfort standing for long periods and performing physical tasks like wrapping pallets.
