You will work on a 3rd shift, 12-hour schedule in a facility that runs 24/7, monitoring automated injection molding machines, handling finished products, and ensuring quality standards. This position offers structured training, clear advancement paths into technical and maintenance roles, and a stable work environment with strong internal promotion opportunities.
Responsibilities

- Attend assigned machines and rotate between different machines and rooms every few hours as directed by production needs.
- Place completed plastic components from the machine onto pallets in an organized and safe manner.
- Apply labels accurately to finished products according to production and quality specifications.
- Remove excess plastic from machines or parts to maintain product quality and prevent defects.
- Manually add plastic parts or components to products as required by specific machine or product setups.
- Perform visual inspections of materials and finished parts to identify defects, damage, or inconsistencies.
- Handle, load, and pack plastic components and finished goods while following standard operating procedures.
- Lift and move products weighing approximately 15–30 pounds throughout the shift in a safe manner.
- Follow all safety and quality guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment such as hair nets, ear plugs, and safety shoes.
- Work effectively in a semi-loud manufacturing environment and adapt to rotating between air-conditioned and warmer rooms.
- Support overall production goals by maintaining productivity, quality, and attendance standards that contribute to performance-based bonuses.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth transitions between machines and shifts.
Essential Skills
- Ability to speak English or Spanish to understand instructions, safety procedures, and production requirements.
- Ability to stand for a full 12-hour shift while performing repetitive tasks and rotating between machines.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment, including hair net, ear plugs, and safety shoes, and to work in a semi-loud environment.
- Ability to lift and move 15–30 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfort working a 12-hour schedule on 3rd shift (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.), including alternating 48-hour and 36-hour workweeks.
- Capability to work around automated injection molding machines and follow established safety and operating procedures.

- Experience with injection molding operations or similar machine-based production is a plus.
- Interest in working weekends as part of a rotating 12-hour schedule is advantageous.

Work Environment
The role is based in a combined manufacturing and distribution facility that operates 24/7, with the manufacturing area located toward the back of the site. You will work on 3rd shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a 12-hour rotating schedule, where one week includes approximately 48 hours and the following week approximately 36 hours, providing every other week with additional days off. The production area uses automated injection molding machines to produce small to medium plastic medical device components. The environment is semi-loud due to the machinery, and ear plugs are provided and required. There are three main production rooms; two are air conditioned and one can become warm, and employees rotate between rooms so no one remains in the warmer area for extended periods. The facility requires wearing a hair net, ear plugs, and safety shoes at all times in production areas. The site includes a corporate lunchroom and cafeteria with a wide variety of food options that are heavily discounted, and the department occasionally hosts catered taco trucks where employees receive tickets for free meals.
