Job Title: Project Scheduler
Job Description
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement staff, construction managers, contractors, and other project services staff to provide detailed planning and scheduling of projects from conceptual planning through detailed design, construction, and start-up operations. Assist with mentoring, developing, and training the schedule team.
Responsibilities
- Analyze available manpower and resources, commodity charts, trends, schedule variations, schedule performance and schedule forecast.
- Develop and maintain achievable resource-loaded logic-driven schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects.
- Identify and report on variations in the schedule in a timely manner.
- Lead project teams through proper setup and maintenance of schedules.
- Evaluate project risk using the Earned Value Management system.
- Maintain careful documentation of all schedule submittals so that any requests for time adjustments can be accurately measured.
- Assist in bid schedule creation per client requirements.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Experience in construction and project scheduling.
- 5+ years as a scheduler on nuclear projects.
- Critical path experience.
- P6 experience on construction within nuclear.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and clients.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology (ABET accredited required).
Work Environment
This is a 100% remote position with reporting in Naperville, IL Office or Atlanta, GA Office. Candidates preferably should be in CT or EST time zones, open to MST but must be committed to the time zone change. Typical working hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Monday to Thursday) and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Friday), all in Central Time.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.30/hr.
