Job Title: Field Sales Representative – Delivery Partner Program (Illinois)

Qualifications:
- 1–2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Proven outside or field sales experience.
- CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and track a sales pipeline using technology and multiple systems.
- Ability to travel up to four hours round-trip on a daily basis.
- High attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for applicants in the field.
- Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and a high sense of urgency.
Work Environment
This is a predominantly field-based role, with work on the road 4–5 days per week visiting businesses across targeted areas in Illinois and working from home for the remaining time to complete follow-up, data entry, and planning. You will regularly travel within a radius of up to a two-hour driving distance, potentially up to four hours round-trip per day.
The position involves frequent use of a CRM (Salesforce), Excel spreadsheets, and other digital tools, as well as regular phone and virtual communication with your Field Manager, teammates, and community partners. A monthly phone allowance is provided, and mileage is reimbursed. The work is fast-paced and goal-oriented, with uncapped commission opportunities tied to partner applications and successful launches, along with paid time off available after a successful performance review period.
Job Description
This role focuses on recruiting local businesses across Illinois to join a new delivery partner program. You will spend most of your time in the field visiting prospective businesses, presenting the program, qualifying interested partners, and guiding them through the application process. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, drive referrals through community organizations, support recruitment events, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce. The position requires regular travel of up to a two-hour driving distance and offers uncapped commission based on partner conversions.
Responsibilities
- Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance.
- Present and clearly pitch the new delivery partner program to prospective businesses to generate interest and encourage them to apply.
- Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step by step through the application process.
- Lead follow-up activity with prospects and manage a robust pipeline of leads and applicants in Salesforce.
- Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
- Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and expand reach.
- Import and update Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate and current data.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners, answering questions and resolving issues that arise during the application and onboarding process.
- Demonstrate professionalism and a high sense of urgency while representing the program in the field.
- Identify and solve problems for applicants in the field, using sound judgment and available tools to keep the process moving forward.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.50/hr.
