Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Join a family-owned company where you will play a crucial role as a Machine Operator. You will operate CNC lathes, interpret work orders, and contribute to the manufacturing process by ensuring the precision and quality of machined parts.
Responsibilities
- Operate a CNC Lathe effectively and efficiently.
- Interpret work orders and punch in for each job, maintaining tags for each step in the process.
- Bend into large tubs to select parts for machining and do the same when parts are finished.
- Develop the ability to make personal adjustments to parts as necessary.
- Grind parts to smooth down flare after machining.
- Check the quality of parts between cycles to ensure excellence.
Essential Skills
- Ability to interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Experience with quality tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Basic mechanical reasoning skills.
- Strong mechanical inclination and ability to learn adjustments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Manufacturing/production experience.
- Beneficial to have 6 months to 1 year of machine operating experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Peoria, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
