Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician maintains a clean, safe, and fully operational facility by performing repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance on fixtures, equipment, and production lines. This role ensures that primary production operations consistently meet or exceed safety, quality, reliability, cost, capability, and capacity requirements in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Follow preventive maintenance (PM) work orders and complete them accurately and on time.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair physical assets, production equipment, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to identify root causes of equipment issues and implement effective repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to evaluate maintenance needs, plan projects, and execute repairs or installations.
- Record maintenance activities, parts used, supplies consumed, and components replaced to maintain accurate documentation.
Essential Skills
- 3–5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical relays and switches.
- Experience with hydraulics in an industrial setting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr.
