Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer


Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a six-month contract position with the potential to become permanent. This role involves designing manufacturing routings and producing Bills of Materials (BOMs), followed by entering them into an ERP system. The position is documentation-driven, requiring precision and attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Design manufacturing routings.
  • Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Enter data into ERP systems.
  • Maintain thorough documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD and Solidworks.
  • Experience creating routings and BOMs.
  • Associate's degree required, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • BS degree preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Entry-level candidates with experience in routings and BOMs during school or internships are welcome.
  • Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a new position created due to company growth. The role is situated within a fast-growing manufacturing company in the Rockford area. The work environment is dynamic, offering excellent benefits upon becoming permanent.
