Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking motivated professionals to assemble low and medium voltage electrical switchgear cabinets in a modern manufacturing facility. If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working with tools, and take pride in producing quality work, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret assembly, elevation drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Assemble modular steel cabinets and copper bus assemblies
- Gather materials, hardware, and components required for production
- Use hand tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
- Operate power tools such as drills, impact guns, and pneumatic torque wrenches
- Read and accurately use a tape measure
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Follow safety procedures and assembly instructions
- Collaborate with fabrication, welding, wiring, and assembly teams to complete projects efficiently
Requirements :
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Machine Builder, Automotive Mechanic, or similar hands-on mechanical role
- Experience working in a job shop or custom manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical symbols, and schematics
- Proficient with shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to perform basic math calculations, including fractions and decimals
- Strong communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak English
- High School Diploma or Technical School education preferred but not required
