Job Title: Accounts Receivable Analyst
Job Description
As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 300-350 customers, focusing on collections through email and phone communication, applying credit memos and payments. Experience in credit analysis is a plus, as you may provide backup support for the Credit Team using tools such as D&B.
Responsibilities
- Handle all collection efforts for trade receivables, including communication with customers and field operations.
- Serve as a liaison to resolve receivable matters and disputes.
- Support field offices with customer account-related activities.
- Recommend payment plans for customers as needed.
- Respond promptly to statement inquiries and other questions on the master phone line.
- Maintain strong working relationships with other departments and team members through excellent customer service.
- Perform consolidated account summaries by gathering and consolidating data from multiple locations.
- Participate in special projects such as audit support, month-end tasks, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2+ years of business experience, preferably in collections.
- College degree in Finance or Accounting.
Additional Skills
- Experience with Oracle and Highradius is a plus.
- NACM certification is advantageous.
- Experience with Excel formulas, pivots, and vlookups.
- Background in Oracle or other large ERP systems such as SAP.
This is a Contract position based out of Schiller Park, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
