Are you tired of dark, greasy shops and repetitive production lines? Step into a stable, highly organized, 50-person precision manufacturing job shop that feels different the moment you walk through the door. We run a clean, modern, ultra-bright facility equipped with state-of-the-art 3-axis, 4-axis rotary, and 5-axis trunnion vertical machining centers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Setup & Operation: Independently execute complex, complete setups and efficient changeovers on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis vertical CNC milling centers utilizing Fanuc and Okuma OSP controls.
- G-Code & M-Code Editing: Read, interpret, and confidently optimize CNC programs at the machine. Adjust work-shifts, tool numbers, offsets, and fix program errors on the fly.
- Precision Quality & Inspection: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and blueprints. Perform meticulous first-part and in-process inspections using standard precision tools.
- High-Mix, Low-Volume Workflow: Manage a dynamic, high-mix, low-volume workload with efficiency. Run dual machines when cycle times safely permit.
- Material Optimization: Select proper feeds, speeds, and tooling configurations to machine tool steels and other challenging, high-tolerance materials.
Position Requirements (What You Bring):
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of dedicated CNC mill setup and operation experience, ideally within a fast-paced job shop environment.
- Control Proficiency: Strong, proven expertise operating and editing G/M code on Fanuc controls.
- Capacity: Competency machining precision components ranging from 0.5 to 22 inches in diameter.
- Blueprint Literacy: Exceptional ability to read complex blueprints and machine demanding materials like tool steels.
Preferred Qualifications (A Plus, Not a Dealbreaker):
- Experience running and setup on Okuma OSP controls.
- Familiarity or exposure to CAD/CAM software platforms (such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks).
