Job Summary
We are hiring full-time Warehouse Workers for an immediate start at our distribution centers in Northlake and Wood Dale, IL. If you want a fast-paced role with steady hours, reliable pay, and a great team, this is the job for you. You will work across various departments including picking, shipping, receiving, and order processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Use pallet jacks and material handling equipment (MHE) to safely move inventory.
- Receiving & Loading: Assist with manual receiving and unloading of trailers.
- Pallet Building: Stack, build, and organize pallets of large items.
- Sorting Line: Work on a rapid, fast-paced production and sorting line.
- Facility Upkeep: Keep work areas clean and compliant with company safety policies.
- Team Collaboration: Assist with shipping, receiving, returns, and inventory replenishment as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Previous work history in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Equipment Knowledge: Experience with manual or electric pallet jacks or other MHE.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive movements like bending or squatting.
- Communication: Good reading, writing, and general communication skills.
- Adaptability: Comfort working around moving machinery, loud noises, and varying warehouse temperatures.
This is a Contract position based out of Stone Park, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.50/hr.
