CNC Machine Operator
Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operators to support production by cutting, banding, and drilling cabinet components. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in quality work, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to cut, band, and drill cabinet parts with precision
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production
- Perform routine quality checks to maintain product standards
- Set up, adjust, and change tools as needed for various production runs
- Troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and production goals are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a machine operator or CNC role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience performing quality inspections
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to change tools
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines and basic troubleshooting
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience setting up and adjusting CNC machines
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
Work Environment
- Large-scale manufacturing facility with 500+ employees across two locations
- Non-climate-controlled environment (temperature varies by season)
- Must be open to working rotating weekends (every other Friday or Saturday)
- 10% shift differential available for off-shifts
- Initial training conducted on 1st shift for approximately 3 weeks, then transition to assigned shift
- Fast-paced, team-driven production environment
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Teutopolis, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
