Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Accounting Specialist to manage our accounts payable and receivable processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, particularly within small to midsize manufacturing environments. This role will involve developing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and providing detailed financial updates to management.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payment and collection.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
- Safeguard revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
- Establish financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while staying informed of proposed legislation.
- Partner with the operations team to develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to protect company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Deliver detailed financial updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting relevant data.
- Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to the current economic landscape.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and guidelines.
- Achieve budgeting goals through effective scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
- Enhance payroll efficiency through innovative process improvements.
