Job Description
The HR Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This position ensures accurate execution of HR processes, maintains data integrity, supports compliance efforts, and contributes to a positive and consistent employee experience. The HR Coordinator works closely with Corporate HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and business leaders to uphold organizational standards and drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day HR processes and maintain data accuracy.
- Schedule interviews, manage candidate communication, and support pre-employment steps.
- Facilitate new hire orientations, process new hire tasks, and conduct exit procedures.
- Manage employee data changes and maintain system accuracy using HRIS platforms like Workday.
- Update and maintain timekeeping systems such as Kronos.
- Assist employees with benefit questions and guide them through processes.
- Support payroll tasks, leave tracking, and ensure accurate employee records.
- Maintain organized, compliant electronic personnel files.
- Represent HR at local events and support engagement initiatives.
- Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Handle sensitive information and understand labor law basics.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, leaders, and HR partners.
- Provide a positive employee experience and responsive HR support.
- Manage multiple tasks, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department.
- Administer the Service Award program for local and satellite locations.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a backup to Corporate HR team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance preferred.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-service mindset with a focus on employee support.
- Experience in employee relations and HR systems.
- Clerical skills are beneficial.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, in an office setting. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and presentations. The position is a 10-12 month contract with the opportunity to be extended or hired onto another team at the end.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
