Job Description
A rapidly growing security solutions provider is seeking a highly skilled Security Technician with extensive experience in both installation and advanced programming of electronic security systems. This role is ideal for a seasoned technician capable of independently installing, configuring, and troubleshooting systems from leading manufacturers such as Bosch, Resideo, Honeywell, and DMP. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling complex projects involving access control, intrusion detection, and surveillance system integration.
Responsibilities
- Install and service security systems such as burglar alarms, CCTV, access control systems, DVRs, and other integrated security equipment.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation based on the weekly schedule shared with other team members.
- Travel to various sites across Indianapolis and the surrounding areas using a company vehicle.
- Handle out-of-state assignments when interested, offering additional hours and pay.
- 3+ years of installation experience.
- Experience with access controls, CCTV, and burglar alarms.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot networked security devices and NVR/DVR systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- A clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
- Experience in commercial security environments.
- Capability to perform system upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Work Environment
Work in a variety of commercial settings, including office buildings, warehouses, retail spaces, and large venues. The role may involve elevated work up to 30 feet, depending on the work setting. Technicians will be provided with a company vehicle for site visits, with potential opportunities for out-of-state assignments.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
