Electronic / Mechanical Assembler- Pay up to $18/hr- IN.
Location: Indianapolis, IN.
Pay: $18-$22/hr
Shift: 1st- 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
2nd- 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM (Monday-Thursday)
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electronic components and subassemblies.
- Read blueprints, bills of materials, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and torque equipment.
- Program and test electronic components as required.
- Perform visual inspections and functional testing.
- Calibrate devices when needed.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report material shortages or scrap.
- Keep workstations clean and organized.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team projects.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for the entire shift.
- Mechanical aptitude and assembly experience.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Basic math skills and measurement knowledge.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Must have steel-toed or composite-toed shoes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience
- Mechanical assembly experience
- Electrical or electronic assembly experience
- Soldering experience
- Experience using torque tools
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, IN 46143.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
