We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative who is passionate about helping people, solving problems efficiently, and delivering an excellent participant experience. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for participants, providing support via phone and email while ensuring concerns are resolved thoroughly and professionally.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a one‑call resolution mindset
- Handle incoming phone calls, assigned email requests, and escalated inquiries
- Support participants with registration, login, and portal navigation
- Answer questions related to program applications available on the private portal
- Educate participants to help prevent repeat issues and future contacts
- Partner with Account Management on complex or non‑routine escalations
- Assist participants in completing surveys over the phone
- Accurately document all interactions and updates
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical call center environment or transferable customer service experience
- Strong customer service, issue resolution, and listening skills
- High attention to detail and comfort with data entry
- Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Pleasant, professional phone presence
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime when needed
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
Location & Schedule Requirements
- Must live within 1 hour of the office
- Onsite training is mandatory
- In‑office work required for the first few weeks after training before transitioning to hybrid schedule (2 days on site)
- Office remains available for those who prefer to work onsite
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or technical support environments
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
