- Hands‑on experience working with manufacturing floor teams and answering operator questions related to quality and inspection.
- Proficiency in quality assurance, quality control, and quality inspection practices, including visual inspection and use of precision tools.
- Strong blueprint reading skills with emphasis on understanding weld symbols and GD&T.
- Ability to perform accurate measurements, record results, and follow established quality procedures consistently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting PPAP submissions and customer approval processes.
- Experience operating CMM equipment for complex part, assembly, or fixture inspection.
- Familiarity with ISO requirements, audits, and certification processes.
- Prior involvement in new product launches, including establishing inspection plans and supporting initial production quality.
- Experience leading or actively participating in quality‑focused problem‑solving activities.
- Experience in product quality, including monitoring and improving quality performance metrics.
- Formal QC training through school, technical programs, or structured on‑the‑job training.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection and documentation.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with production teams and supporting customer‑related quality activities.
Work Environment
