We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who will be responsible for part setups, tool setups, operation, and final inspection of manufactured parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of G-code programming and the ability to troubleshoot and edit programs as needed.
Responsibilities- Set up parts and tools, operate CNC machines, and perform final inspections of manufactured parts.
- Read and interpret manufacturing prints and mechanical blueprints/drawings.
- Troubleshoot and edit G-code programs, ensuring the CNC machine operates according to company guidelines.
- Read micrometers and properly use indicators and other inspection tools.
- Execute setups ranging from 1 to 5 per shift, with parts typically ranging from 1-50 per program and tolerances from .0005 to .100.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- Proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming.
- Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
- Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
- Good computer and mathematical skills.
- Experience with Fanuc and Haas controls is a plus.
- Experience as a CNC machine operator preferred.
- Manual machining experience is helpful but not necessary.

Work EnvironmentThe role involves working with Haas-heavy CNC Milling machines and Samsung and Haas lathes, utilizing G and M Code programming. The environment is focused on precision, with no high-volume production, ensuring quality over quantity.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Marion, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $62400.00/yr.
