Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift
$30-$35/HR + Overtime Available

Job Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment.
- Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on machinery.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Replace motors, bearings, gearboxes, sensors, and other machine components.
- Troubleshoot drives, controls, and automated equipment.
- Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Perform welding and light fabrication as needed.
- Complete maintenance work orders using a computerized maintenance system.
- Order and track replacement parts when necessary.
- Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Follow all safety procedures while working around industrial machinery.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480V systems.
- Experience working with motors, controls, sensors, and automated equipment.
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience with conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and machinery.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Valparaiso, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
