We are seeking dedicated Cleanroom Technicians for our weekend shifts, running from September 2026 to April 2027. The work schedule is from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, totaling 24 hours per week. The positions are based in Building 1 and involve tasks in both the APR (Automatic Plates Room) and MPR (Manual Plates Room), where media is dispensed into petri dishes. The roles also extend to the TVS (Tubes) department, involving sorting, packaging, labeling, and palletizing.
Responsibilities- Handle petri dishes and media in the APR and MPR areas.
- Sort, package, label, and palletize in the TVS department.
- Perform repetitive lifting, twisting, and pushing of up to 30 lbs.
- Complete paperwork and perform basic math with a calculator.
- Engage in packing, quality assurance, production, and documentation of packaging procedures.
- 6+ months of production or manufacturing experience.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom production environment.
- Ability to work on feet for the entire shift.
- Basic understanding of GMP, work instructions, and assembly processes.
- Cleanroom experience is a plus.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to speak, read, and write basic English.

Work EnvironmentThe environment is climate-controlled with some areas emitting the smell of yeast or vinegar. Certain areas are loud, with earplugs provided, especially in the test tube area where glass tubes and bottles are handled. Team sizes are small, and you may work independently at times. The dress code requires safety shoes, jeans, t-shirts, and sweatshirts, with scrubs encouraged. Hair nets, safety glasses, and surgical face coverings are provided and required.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.55 - $23.00/hr.
