Job Description
We are seeking diligent and motivated Cleanroom Technicians to join our team in the Automatic Plates Room (APR), Manual Plates Room (MPR), and Tubes (TVS) departments. In these roles, you will be involved in the production and packaging of media for petri dishes, as well as sorting, labeling, and palletizing tubes. This position may involve exposure to sheep's blood in bags and cleaning petri dishes. You will work in a climate-controlled environment, with shifts available across various time slots.
Responsibilities
- Produce and package media for petri dishes.
- Sort, package, label, and palletize tubes.
- Perform quality assurance and ensure adherence to packaging procedures.
- Complete documentation of packaging procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Engage in repetitive lifting, twisting, and pushing up to 30 lbs.
- Perform basic math calculations using a calculator.
- Stand and work on your feet for the entire shift.
- Maintain cleanliness in the working area.
- Experience in production, packaging, and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work in cleanroom and warehouse settings.
- Strong hand dexterity and general labor skills.
- Capability to follow work instructions and perform inspections.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to speak, read, and write basic English.
- Comfortable working in a production manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
You will work in a climate-controlled facility with the occasional smell of yeast or vinegar in Building 1. Some areas can be loud, with earplugs provided for comfort. You will be part of small teams or work independently. Safety is paramount, requiring steel or composite safety shoes, hair nets, safety glasses, and surgical masks. Comfortable attire such as jeans, t-shirts, and sweatshirts (nothing offensive) is encouraged, with scrubs being a suitable alternative.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LENEXA, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.55/hr.
