Job Description
The Drafter position provides essential support for the design department, focusing on setting up new projects for design disciplines in both AutoCAD and Revit. The role involves creating and maintaining project documents and ensuring adherence to design standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up new projects for design disciplines using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Create PDF/DWF sets for client coordination and internal review.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of code stipulations for various regions.
- Maintain AutoCAD and Revit standards in collaboration with the BIM Manager.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Ability to interpret and apply red lines and CAD standards.
- Experience in building design.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred, or a suitable combination of education and relevant experience.
The work environment is an open office space with 35-40 employees, fostering a laid-back and collaborative culture. The Drafter will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
