Join our dynamic team as a Solder Technician, working the 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. You will play a crucial role in ensuring product functionality and monitoring test procedures and equipment.
Responsibilities- Conduct testing procedures using specialized equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in electronic equipment.
- Solder equipment to repair, modify, and change parts using both surface mount and thru-hole methods.
- Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices.
- Comply with quality performance standards.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Ensure adherence to warehouse safety regulations, including compliance with ESD guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
- Skilled in the operation of test equipment.
- Capable of utilizing repair tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, and soldering irons.
- Ability to perform both surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques, as well as operate automated repair equipment (BGA machine).
- Proficient in soldering and de-soldering techniques.
- Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
- Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units.
- Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous technical experience.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with schematics.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Time-management skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is climate-controlled and comfortable, with bench-level operations. The role requires the ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs. as necessary, and to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous or repetitive capacity if needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
