Job Description
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with project management to support installations, new launches, and special/capital projects. You will be part of the Electric Motors Department and will be responsible for executing engineering strategies and new product launches. You will develop priorities and objectives in cooperation with each site management team and oversee their implementation. Your role will also involve continuous improvements throughout the plant, utilizing SolidWorks and CAD.
Responsibilities

- Drive continuous improvements throughout the plant.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology
- 5+ years of automotive experience if no engineering degree

Work Environment
You will work on the 1st shift from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on needs. The role will involve 80% on the floor and 20% in the office. You will need to sit or stand for long periods, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and walk 10,000+ steps a day in a large plant. The facility includes cleanroom environments and some areas that are not temperature controlled. Steel-toed boots are required on the manufacturing floor. You will need to work 40–50 hours per week to support new product launches and may occasionally travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.
