Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

Location: Frankfort, KY


TEKsystems is seeking experienced Desktop Support Technicians to provide onsite technical assistance to end users for one of our clients based out of Frankfort, KY. Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting skills, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support for hardware and software issues
  • Configure, set up, and install computer equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops and networks
  • Maintain ticketing documentation for issue tracking and resolution
  • Communicate effectively with end users to ensure smooth technical support

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least one year of desktop support experience in a professional environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repair of computer hardware and software
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with issue tracking systems

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with various operating systems
  • Technical support and troubleshooting expertise
  • Knowledge of system imaging, software deployment, and mobile device management
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts
