Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Production Control Specialist to oversee daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise inbound and outbound logistics and support warehouse team members through the day-to-day tasks.
- Ensure accurate inventory, cycle counts, and material flow.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and carriers.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, and inventory management.
- Strong customer service and data entry skills.
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving, Microsoft Excel, and warehouse management.
- Experience with freight, inventory control, and dispatch.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, production, warehousing, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The role is based in an office/manufacturing setting with one shift available (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM). This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
