Job Title: Process Engineer

A Process Engineer is needed to optimize and scale manufacturing processes, focusing on liquid blending, solids blending, and substrate converting. This role involves transitioning new product formulations from R&D to full-scale production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Reporting to the Manufacturing Plant Director, the engineer will troubleshoot operational challenges, refine production processes, and support the setup of new manufacturing facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Develop and refine blending and converting processes to maximize efficiency.
  • Product Scale-Up: Collaborate with R&D to transition new formulas from lab-scale to full-scale production.
  • Operational Improvements: Troubleshoot issues, enhance product yield, and reduce downtime.
  • Manufacturing Setup: Assist in facility establishment, equipment selection, and process scaling.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use statistical tools to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Quality & Compliance: Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory and safety standards.
  • Team Training: Mentor production staff and junior engineers.
  • Safety & Sustainability: Uphold best practices for workplace safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, experience in process engineering, expertise in scaling up production, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree, Lean Six Sigma certification, experience in consumer goods or chemical-based manufacturing, and familiarity with process automation.
