Job Title: Spray Technician
Job Description
As a Spray Technician, you will be responsible for performing HVOF, plasma, and other thermal spray coating operations according to customer requirements and job folder specifications. You will review the job folder to verify the area of the part to be masked, cleaned, blasted, and coated, ensuring all pre-coating requirements are completed. Your role involves following in-process inspection procedures to confirm operations meet customer and technical plan requirements. You will also be required to record and sign off on applicable data defined in the job folder.
Responsibilities
- Perform HVOF, plasma, and other thermal spray coating operations per customer requirements and job folder specifications.
- Review job folder to verify the area of the part to be masked, cleaned, blasted, and coated.
- Ensure completion of all pre-coating requirements according to job folder specifications.
- Follow in-process inspection procedures to verify operations meet customer and technical plan requirements.
- Record and sign off on all applicable data defined in the job folder.
Essential Skills
- Machine operation in coating, welding, robotic welding, or CNC is required.
- Capability to perform setups/changeovers of new products and program machines to specification.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate CNC and other machinery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Reading blueprints/drawings is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Spray Technician is a plus.
- Experience in a production environment demonstrating the capability to learn thermal spray processes.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
