Software Engineer

Job Description

Software Engineers are tasked with preparing or receiving detailed functional specifications and flow diagrams to illustrate the sequence of steps that a program must follow, and to describe input, output, and logical operations involved. Each project presents a unique challenge, offering constant opportunities to work with new software configurations and applications. Once the software is developed and tested, Software Engineers collaborate closely with the Engineering team during installation and may visit the customer site during the go-live phase to help debug and troubleshoot any issues. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn from the software engineering team and contribute innovative ideas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and receive detailed functional specifications and flow diagrams.
• Develop and test software with new configurations and applications.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team during software installation.
• Visit customer sites during the go-live phase to debug and troubleshoot issues.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in C++ and C# development.
• Experience in software development and automation systems.
• 3-5+ years as a Software Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to learn quickly and contribute new ideas.

Work Environment

The work environment is an office setting, operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM, requiring full-time onsite presence. While there is no standard relocation package, a sign-on bonus may be provided to accommodate relocation needs. The role includes 40 hours of PTO billed back and 6 paid holidays.
