Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of our project sites, ensuring that subcontractors, suppliers, and employees adhere to project schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of site logistics, site safety, and construction operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the project site to ensure adherence to the project schedule.
- Demonstrate understanding of site logistics, site safety, and construction operations.
- Assure onsite subcontractors conform to company policy and reporting requirements.
- Develop and distribute project execution plans and site logistics plans to the project team.
- Assist the Project Executive and Project Manager in planning and execution.
- Supervise all onsite construction activity.
- Understand product specifications and scope of work requirements.
- Coordinate the review and approval of craft worker time cards.
- Monitor and address issues within weekly labor reports.
- Review and approve craft worker certifications and trainings for specialty craft roles.
- Participate in site orientation training, first-hour orientation, and site safety meetings.
- Participate in the hiring and dismissal process of craft workers.
- Demonstrate the ability to achieve onsite dispute resolution.
- Manage project labor and ensure project safety, subcontractor performance, on-time scheduling, specification conformance, and quality control.
- Provide guidance on activities including set-up, work in place, and project closeout/demobilization.
- Create, support, and administer the project schedule with the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with equipment facilities and outside equipment providers for project equipment.
- Review and verify quantity takeoffs and materials management processes during the buyout process for specific scopes of work.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
The work environment includes both office settings and project sites, with locations in Louisville or Lexington. Projects are based in the Lexington/Louisville area, and there is no overnight travel required. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
