Manual Machinist – Full Time
Kenner, LA
Pay: $35.00 – $45 per hour (based on experience)
I’m looking to bring on an experienced Manual Machinist for our Kenner shop. This is a 100% manual machining role—no CNC work at all. If you know your way around a manual lathe and mill, take pride in your work, and want steady, long‑term employment, this is a solid opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Set up and run manual lathes, mills, drill presses, and other shop equipment
- Machine and repair parts to print and tolerance
- Read blueprints and work orders
- Inspect your own work using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Keep machines, tools, and work area clean and safe
What I’m Looking For
- 3+ years of hands‑on manual machining experience
- Strong skills on manual lathes and mills
- Able to read prints and hold tight tolerances
- Reliable, safety‑minded, and takes pride in craftsmanship
- Experience with steel and industrial components preferred

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.50/hr.
