An established organization is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations in the Greater Hartford, CT Area. The position is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The HR Coordinator will assist with attendance tracking, leave administration, employee relations documentation, investigations, employee communications, benefits support, and engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Track employee attendance and maintain attendance reporting.
- Process and administer leave of absence requests and employee communications.
- Coordinate FMLA documentation and maintain leave records.
- Monitor employee leave status and update correspondence as needed.
- Support employee relations matters, including investigations and meeting documentation.
- Attend employee meetings and take detailed notes.
- Draft disciplinary notices and corrective action documentation.
- Assist with open enrollment and benefits-related activities.
- Help coordinate employee engagement programs and events.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
- 1-3 years of Human Resources experience.
- Experience in HR coordination, HR administration, or employee support functions.
- Basic knowledge of employee relations, leave administration, and employment documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting FMLA, leave of absence processes, employee correspondence, and HR documentation.
- Ability to assist with investigations, document meetings, draft corrective action notices, and maintain confidential records.
- Strong experience tracking attendance, maintaining employee records, preparing reports, and supporting day-to-day HR operations.
The work environment is on-site in the Greater Hartford, CT Area from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role offers a chance to earn a permanent position if performance is high.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Agawam, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
