Job Title: Finish Carpenter
Job Description
Aerotek is hiring immediately for skilled carpenters in the Boston area. This role offers the opportunity to contribute high-quality craftsmanship on a variety of construction projects for a general contractor. You will apply your framing and finish carpentry skills to deliver precise, detailed work that meets project specifications and enhances the overall quality of each build. We support a general contractor that specializes in building high end multi family apartment complexes. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!
Responsibilities
- Perform finish carpentry work, including installation of trim, molding, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other detailed interior and exterior components.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications to complete framing and finish tasks accurately.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to ensure precise fits and clean finishes.
- Collaborate with the general contractor and other trades to coordinate work and maintain project timelines.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and correct any defects or inconsistencies.
- Use appropriate hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete carpentry tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following site safety rules and best practices.
- Assist with general construction duties as needed to support overall project completion.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in finish carpentry, including detailed trim and interior finish work.
- Hands-on framing experience in a construction environment.
- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to read and follow construction drawings and measurements.
- Proficiency using common carpentry hand tools and power tools safely.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively on active construction sites and coordinate with other trades.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working directly with general contractors on residential or commercial projects.
- Ability to adapt to different project types and changing site conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in the field.
- Reliable work habits, including punctuality and consistent follow-through on assigned tasks.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
