Job Title: Sheet Metal Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Certified Hood (Sheet Metal) Technician, where you will be responsible for installing commercial kitchen hoods, exhaust systems, and duct work in accordance with building codes. You will work as part of an installation crew, handling tasks such as running duct work, MIG welding, setting fasteners, and hanging hoods.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial kitchen hoods and exhaust systems following building codes.
- Run duct work, perform MIG welding, and set fasteners.
- Work collaboratively with an installation crew.
- Utilize layout design skills for efficient installation.
- Troubleshoot installation issues in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in mechanical work, welding, and sheet metal.
- Experience with duct work and duct installation.
- Ability to conduct layout design.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in an industrial setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to lift between 50lbs to 75lbs.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.

Work Environment
