Job Title: Academic Health Science Programmer/Project Manager


Job Description

The role involves developing, managing, and facilitating measurable data collection and space metrics, from high-level planning assumptions to detailed space programming. You will develop content for projects, provide thought leadership, and oversee the final content and production. As a day-to-day contact for clients, you will cultivate relationships and lead presentations, ensuring consistency and accuracy in deliverables.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage data collection and space metrics.
  • Provide thought leadership and guide final content production.
  • Lead client presentations and co-present with PIC.
  • Ensure quality control and consistency of deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project processes and schedules.
  • Coordinate subconsultant scope of work.
  • Update project finances, including billing and Deltek updates.
  • Market ASG work through conference attendance and speaking engagements.
  • Mentor and build a team.
  • Liaise with marketing to produce project narratives and approaches.
  • Provide strategic support for interview presentations.

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in academic health science education programming and planning.
  • Professional degree in Architecture preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Autodesk Revit, CAD, Sketchup, Rhino, and/or 3D Studio Max.
  • Exceptional graphic communication abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong design thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with large teams and work independently.
  • Experience in planning and architecture for higher education health sciences projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain and grow subject matter expertise in health education labs and learning environments.
  • Self-starter eager to learn and evolve thinking.
  • Capacity for regular project-related and inter-office travel.
