Job Title: Technical Recruiter
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Recruiter to join our team. This role involves full life-cycle recruitment for IT positions, with a focus on engaging with our current member base and newly skilled talent. You will play a critical role in advising members and candidates on career paths and skill development, while also collaborating closely with hiring managers and account managers to ensure a thorough understanding of recruitment needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full life-cycle recruitment for IT positions, focusing on the current member base and recently skilled talent.
- Advise members and candidates on career pathing and skill/resume development.
- Meet with account managers and hiring managers to fully understand roles and qualify requisitions.
- Consult with hiring managers on internal recruiting processes, feasibility of hire, and potential opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate with managers and team members to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Ensure hiring aligns with company policy, philosophy, and commitment to diversity and equality.
- Proactively network in chosen markets to build strong relationships across industries.
- Partner with hiring managers to obtain leadership approvals and extend offers.
- Ensure all applicants, data, and processes are properly entered and tracked in the ATS.
- Assist in various department and companywide projects, including employee surveys, audits, diversity projects, and job enrichment.
- Develop and maintain recruiting metrics.
- Ensure recruitment practices follow HR regulatory compliance.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of proven IT recruiting/search firm experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Recruiting, technical recruiting, and talent acquisition experience.
- Sourcing and full cycle recruiting expertise.
- Customer service skills.
- Background in IT recruiting.
Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hanover, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $32.00/hr.
