This is a hands‑on opportunity for detail‑oriented individuals who enjoy working with tools, following blueprints, and producing high‑quality assemblies in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and bills of materials
- Build switchboards, panelboards, and related electrical assemblies to specification
- Verify assemblies for proper alignment, torque, spacing, and grounding
- Inspect parts for defects, damage, or missing components
- Perform visual quality checks before and after assembly
- Communicate progress, part shortages, and process issues to the team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work area
- Identify opportunities for process or quality improvements
- Support additional production tasks as needed
Essential Skills
- Entry‑level to early‑career experience in assembly or manufacturing
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Skills
- Experience with GMP, ERP systems, or inventory control
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
